1. What are Posts?
Posts are the primary method through which users of a community, as well as staff and administrators, can upload updates, news, or share information. This functionality allows community members to stay connected and informed, sharing relevant content in an interactive format.
2. Where and How to Publish
- From the Navbar: Using the "+" button on the navigation bar. Here, users must specify which communities the post will be directed to, with a maximum limit of 10 communities from the ones you are already a member and have permissions to post.
- From a Community Profile: Posts created here are exclusive to the respective community.
3. Limitations of a Post
- Post Title: Optional, with a limit of 77 characters.
- Post Body: No character limit.
4. Enhancing Post
4.1 Attachments:
- Images: Up to 5 images per post.
- Videos:
- Gallery Upload: One video per post, with a maximum file size of 1 GB.
- Camera Recording: Direct recording up to 15 minutes.
- Documents: PDF, Word, and Excel files (limit pending to be defined).
4.2 External Links
- YouTube Links: Embeds a player within the post.
- Web Links: Displays a preview with metadata and OpenGraph.
4.3 Internal Embeds
- Tabella Posts: Works like a quote, similar to a retweet on Twitter.
- Community Links: Shows a preview with basic information about the community.
- Channels: Sharing a link to a channel displays information about the channel and its cover.
